A digital photo survey.

8,000 Pictures in 12 Days

Below, you can see a few of the more than 8,000 pictures taken in the tomb of Seti I by team photographer Jerald Munn during our 2002 expedition in Thebes.

Jerry succeeded in achieving a complete digital photographic record of Seti I, in color.  Since returning, Jerry has been working with this enormous number of digital photographs.

This subsequent work is concentrated in two areas:

1.  Complete web publication of the tomb (forthcoming), including the integration of many individual images into a single image (i.e., an entire wall, et cetera).

2.  Stitching dozens of individual photos into panoramas.  For an example, see a QuickTime panorama shot in Seti I.
